“Clusterscape 31: Bundle” will be in the exhibit titled The Power of Red at The MVA Gallery in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
This exhibit explores many different interpretations of the color red. The Gallery shares: “Ancient Egyptians covered their skin with red ochre during special ceremonies. In ancient China, the color red was used for pottery and silk clothing. Ancient Roman artists created red frescoes to adorn the walls of villas. Red is considered a color of intense emotion. It is associated with anger, sacrifice, aggression, heat, love, and passion. Red was adopted as a color of majesty and authority. In Asia, it symbolizes happiness and good fortune.” The show will be up for the month of February.
